CRIME ALERT

Last night two men attempted to break in to a home in the 1800 block of Albans at around 9 p.m.  The men began ringing the doorbell and knocking on the back doors via the alley.  Before the resident could answer the door, the men hit it with a ramming device, shattering the door jamb. At that point, the resident yelled and the men ran off. One of the suspects is described as a black male, approximately 5'10" tall and about 180 pounds.  This incident is unusual in that it took place in a well-lit, mid-block alley where security decals were prominently displayed at the back of the property.  

Residents are advised to call the Southampton/BOCA Patrol immediately at 713-825-5555 if they hear or see any suspicious activity, especially in the alleys.  In case of emergency call 911.
